PHPBB3 mod with nick linkage not working

I have added the code to the functions and modified the template file and the chat room loads fine.

I have made a secure room and entered the details into the functions file.

The chat window loads fine when not loged in and displays guest.

But when you login to your account on the forum i get the following error.

Security error Security error: Failed user authorization

and it keep retrying to connect every 5 seconds.

Check whether you entered the Authorization key correctly.

I had the same problem. I was using the wrong authorization key. Changed the key and now it works fine :-)
