It doesnt, I dont see it at all. That position is in the overall_header.html. I never inserted it there, only in the includes/functions.php.

The reason you only have to edit the functions.php is because i took a shortcut...
The chat room HTML is added to the 'SITE_DESCRIPTION' field in the template. If the template you're using doesn't have it add a {SITE_DESCRIPTION} to your template.

I now see the chatbox and I use a secure chatroom so I have to Login at the forum. When I click at the Login button of the forum the chatbox responds immediatly with " Chat room is already open in another window." This is not the case, the forum just loads the login-screen. After logging in the chatroom remains unavailable cause of " Chat room is already open in another window." so I cant use it.

Post a link to your site, so I can check to see what's wrong.
b.t.w. I have a report of this happening in some chinese browser because the browser has a bug and doesn't close any flash movies, but I doubt that is your problem. But just in case what browser are you using?

Under our testing your site seems to work fine in Windows XP - Explorer 6.0, 7.0, Firefox 2.0.
It would seem your browser isn't closing flash when you change pages...
Have you tested your site on a different computer?

You are right. On an old PC it worked fine. I do know flash doesnt work properly with 64-bits versions of browsers but I was testing at my 32-bits browser. Alltho I dont know how to solve it for myself its not a problem at your side then, thanks for your time!

Furthermore I use Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bits version so maybe there is also a non-compatibility.

Its a problem associated with Internet Explorer. I tested it on Firefox and it worked fine.

Thanks for your input. It seems a very rare problem with only some internet explorer setups, as I have had only one report other than you of similar symptoms (currently over 400 concurrent users and many sites using this chat), but that was in a chinese browser using internet explorer.

This would be a serious flaw in the internet explorer setup you are using, as this means flash isn't being closed after you visit pages suggesting possibly associated "memory leak".

I can't understand your question. Anyways to position the chat room in a different location mod the template to where you want the chat room to be. It would be difficult for me to answer exactly where for you since it is different according to the template you use and location you want.

The mod screws up the alignment of the forum headings in phpbb3 under IE with prosilver, works ok with Firefox.
