Conclusion:

All prior secure chat rooms named such as @mychatroom, @@mychatroom, @@@mychatroom must now be renamed as

~mychatroom, ~~mychatroom, ~~~mychatroom.

All the @ characters in secure chat rooms should be changed to ~

Explanation:

Due to a major bug in Adobe Flash 10.0.43.34 released on Nov. 5, 2009, Flash with @ in the URL will cause the Flash to malfunction.

This bug has been reported to Adobe but unfortunately since the Flash player has already been distribuited worldwide we are changing the chat room names for full compatibility.

If you the chat room name is not changed, nicknames will not be saved and chat blocks will not work.

(of note, if you URLencode the chatroom name, that will also work without any other changes)
